Guest Designing at The Rubber Cafe!

Hey there, and Happy Monday! I'm so excited to be guest designing at The Rubber Cafe this month!  Today, I'm bringing you my first card using the July KOTM.  I just love the fun and bright summer colors.  One of my favorite techniques in scrapbooking layouts or cards is using my Silhouette Cameo to create die cuts.  I love pie charts, and I used one here on this card.  It's really easy to do, and the result is fabulous!

I just chose eight different patterned papers from the 6x6 paper pad and traced the pie shapes onto each one.  Then I cut them out and adhered them to the back of the die cut.  It's a simple and fun way to add lots of color and patterns to your project.  I also used my Cameo and the gorgeous blue cardstock included in the kit to cut these fun scribbly circles.

I used a piece of the satin green ribbon and machine stitched through it.  I added my sentiment at the bottom using the gorgeous stamps in the kit and added a few touches with the Doodlebug Sprinkles Shapes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'd love to see your cards featuring a fun cut file!  Be sure to check out the awesome July Kit HERE.  Have a great day!
