I wanted to share with you my latest creation for the Paper Thrills DT. This challenge was themed: "What I Know For Sure"
Here is what I made. The pictures and paper had SO much picture and detail in them that I didn't want to add many more embellishments. I didn't want it to be too busy. I added a few large silk flowers, but that's it. Can you tell I love bright colors? :)
Thanks for looking! Have a great day.

Artful Delight Birthday Bash
I made a few layouts for Artful Delight's Birthday Bash Blog Hop. I used the provided sketch to create this layout for {DAY 1}.
My daughter has a lot of sensory issues, and she has a total meltdown in any kind of dress. (Well, this was Spring of 2010, so she has changed a bit). So I wasn't about to force her to wear a fancy dress for Easter. I found this cute outfit at Target, and it was just the ticket for her.
I love this Cuttlebug flower die! It makes it so easy & fast to make little layered flowers :)
I created a little ribbon banner & added some sticky pearls.
The next challenge {DAY 2} was a tic-tac-toe challenge. I chose to use light pink, border punches & make a layout. Here's what I came up with...pictures of my little Paige crawling down the hallway :)
I used the cardboard from an old diaper box to cut these cute corrugated flowers.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day :)

A few more Sweet Peach layouts
I wanted to share these layouts that I made with the Sweet Peach Crop Shop September kits.
This one features the September Juicy Kit. It's full of SEI Corrinne papers...so cute! I had the perfect pictures of Reese in a cute rainbow shirt...I knew immediately that I had to use them for these papers.
I used a Cuttlebug flower die to make these layered flowers, and I topped them with brads that come with the kit.
I love distressing & tearing paper!
Another layout from this kit...I used a Martha border punch, and I did a terrible job of lining it up. I totally messed it up around the bottom. I used it anyway...I just can't waste paper!
I misted and stitched, and again, I used a die to cut the layered flowers.
This is my sixth layout using the Sweet Kit! I stretched it, and I actually still have more left over. This one is pretty simple, but I love how it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget about the CROP going on right now at Sweet Peach! You don't want to miss out on the chance to win a 3-month subscription to the Shop!!

Sweet Peach Crop Shop layouts!
Today is the first day of the Sweet Peach Crop Shop Crop! There will be new challenges up for the next two weeks, and the first one is a beautiful sketch from Keri.
Check it out! Isn't it awesome?
Here's my layout. I decided to create a landscape by cutting several of the Sweet Kit papers into small hills and stitching around the edges. I also painted the background and stitched around that. I cut the sun using the Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge, and added one of the adorable Basic Grey fabric flowers in the Add-on kit. The blue sticker alphas are from Prima, and I cut "swing" using the Mini Monograms cartridge.
Last week, I shared this layout on the Sweet Peach Blog, showing how you can use these adorable little journaling spots as picture frames! They come in the September Sweet kit, and they are very versatile. I painted & misted my background.
All of these papers & flowers come in the kit...the floss is from my stash. The grey flowers are just precious...they're so tiny! I made the buttons from some of the patterned paper, using a punch. The fabric brads are awesome, too!
You'll want to check the Sweet Peach blog every day this week for a new challenge every day. There is an AWESOME prize up for grabs! You can do as many or as few challenges as you want. They're all super fun, so don't miss out. See you there!

ScrapFIT Weekend Warm Up & Artful Delight sketch
Hi there, scrappers! I have a few layouts to share with you today. First, the new Weekend Warm-Up (#14) is up at ScrapFIT. Remember, you have two weeks to play along, and if you win, you will be featured in our FITGirl Spotlight. It's a great way to showcase your work and let other scrappers learn more about you.
Here is my sample layout. This workout features BUTTONS. I got out my paints & brushes and made my blue, streaky background. I then used a scalloped piece of felt that I've had for a really long time, and I used it as a template. I painted around the edges of it. I didn't use any other paper...just for the leaves. I only used flowers to frame my photos. The colors in the photos were so bright & bold...no papers in my stash seemed to work. I love how the flowers make it even brighter!
I also played with the latest Artful Delight sketch. I used the Juicy Kit from Sweet Peach Crop Shop, which is a fantastic kit! It's all SEI papers, and it is adorable!

ScrapFIT & Sketchy Thursdays BLOG HOP!
Hi, scrappers! Welcome to the ScrapFIT & Sketchy Thursdays Blog Hop! We have teamed up with Sketchy Thursdays to bring you a beautiful sketch to go along with our latest workout.
Here is the sketch you'll use:
You must combine this sketch with the theme of FRIENDSHIP. "F" is for Friendship -- Friends are family members we pick out by hand. Dedicate this layout to one of your special friends!
Here is what I created. Back in July, one of my greatest friends & I gave ourselves a "Harry Potter" challenge. We read all the books (again) together, watched all the movies (again) and then saw the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in theaters. The following weekend, we went to Islands of Adventure's Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We had a BLAST! If you're a Harry fan, you would LOVE it. I loved combining these photos with this awesome sketch. I created the background with chalk!
Since this is a special joint workout there are a few prizes up for grabs!
You can win this Haunting Halloween kit from our ScrapFIT sponsor Paper Issues.
by linking your layout to the Mr Linky on the ScrapFIT Blog.

Sassy Lil' Sketches Reveal & Sweet Peach Sketch #1
Good Tuesday, everyone! I have two layouts to share with you today. First up is the September Week 2 Reveal at Sassy Lil' Sketches. Check out this awesome sketch!
Here is what I created. I used some really fun & bright papers from a Me & My Big Ideas stack. I LOVE making banners...can you tell? :)
Next up is the 1st sketch for September at the Sweet Peach Crop Shop. I used this month's Sweet Kit, and let me tell you...it ROCKS! I have stretched it to make SIX layouts! This was my first one, and I LOVE this gorgeous paper from Webster's Pages. I had to use that beautiful tree...it's awesome.
These canvas letters are SO cool! I painted them blue...you can really do anything to them to make them your own.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day :)

A Sweet Blog Crop & Hop!
I wanted to let everyone know that a really fun blog hop & crop is coming up! Sweet Peach Crop Shop is hosting a Back-to-School Hop, and we want YOU to play with us!!
Here is a layout I made using the awesome September kit from Sweet Peach. It has so many yummy papers & embellishments in it...I just can't get enough of it. I've actually created FIVE layouts from it so far, but I can't share them all just yet.
Aren't these tiny little Prima flower so pretty? And the leaves...they're American Crafts.
The grey Thickers are included in the kit; the aqua alphas are in the Add-On kit. They go so perfectly with the papers!
Be sure to keep checking the Sweet Peach Blog for more information regarding the Crop & Hop. You are going to LOVE the prize...it's FABULOUS!!

Miss Hollywood & No Ordinary Girl
I have two layouts to share today! One is for the latest sketch challenge at Sketchy Thursdays, and the second one is for the latest DT challenge at Paper Thrills.
I created this for Sketchy Thursdays. I used mostly DCWV papers and one from Doodlebug. I used my Nestabilities to cut the journaling brackets.
Here is what I made for Paper Thrills. This was a HEAVY METAL challenge, which was hard for me initially. I don't have a lot of metal. I wound up using staples, eyelets, zipper flowers and shiny metallic paper.
Aren't these zipper flowers the coolest? I found them at Walmart on the end of a random aisle on clearance for $1!!! I spritzed them pink. LOVE them! I also used a few sprigs of red craft wire, wound up into little springs.
Thanks for checking in! Have a great day!
