Hello Amazing Memories / Hip Kit Club

Hey there, friends!  Here's my latest layout for Hip Kit Club using the 2020 February Hip Kits :)  I have been on a rainbow roll lately...I just love ALL the colors together!  I used mostly papers and embellishments from the Paige Evans Bloom Street collection with a few bits from Pinkfresh Studio.

The soft blue patterned paper I used for the background is from Pinkfresh Studio.  I coated a lot of this paper with white gesso, which you can see all around the edges.  I used the Lindy's Raspberry Lemonade Powder from the Color Kit to create lots of pretty pink on top of the gesso.  I wanted pink to show around the edges.  I fussy cut lots of the chevron arrows from a Bloom Street paper.  I glued them together to make separate little embellishments and matching stitched through them.

I popped everything up using adhesive foam.  I played around a lot with the placement of everything.  It took me a while to arrange my photos...I actually started with a different photo but changed my mind.  I wanted the arrows pointing towards the photos to help draw your eye to them.  Once I figured that out, I wanted to incorporate flowers and a few die cuts & stickers.

I fussy cut some flowers & leaves from a Bloom Street paper and used a few of the Bloom Street floral die cuts.   I wound up creating a little wavy line of flowers between the arrows and the photos.

I added a few Pinkfresh Studio & Bloom Street stickers in a few places and added my journaling down below the photos using a black Sharpie.

These stickers are from the Bloom Street Stickers, and they're so pretty!  Those gold splatters are from the Jen Hadfield Gold Glitter Spray that was included in the Christmas Kits a few months ago.

I love how this row of flowers turned out.  I added a few of the cute Bloom Street butterfly stickers as well.

I created a small floral cluster on the right side of the photos.

I mixed and matched my title using some of the gold Thickers and a few Pinkfresh bits.

Although I struggled at first getting this layout started, I like the end result.  Some layouts happen easily and others just don't sometimes.  I hope this gives you some ideas to try on your next page!

The process video for this is HERE.
