Focus on Stickers / My Mind's Eye

Hello there :)  Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.  Today, I'm sharing my latest layout for My Mind's Eye.  It was up on the blog last week for Sticker Week.  I chose to make the stickers from the Just Sayin' collection as my focus.  This was a challenge  because all of the stickers are words or sentiments.

I decided to incorporate a cut file that I found in the Silhouette store.  I wanted one that I could easily fit lots of the word stickers into.  This fun rectangle and square design was perfect.  I backed all the open spots with patterned paper and then added the stickers.  All of the words on this design are stickers.  I think it turned out really cool, and it was fun to create!

I pulled a few stickers from the Necessities collection.  They make perfect little details here and there...like days of the week or date stickers.

I just love the alphas in the Just Sayin' line.  The shadow effect is awesome!  I also added in a few gold glitter enamel arrows.

Here's a close up of the die cut and stickers.  I added in some stitching throughout the layout.  I just can't get enough of the sparkly gold!

I hope this inspires you to pull out your stickers and use them in a fun and different way.  I love a challenge, and I really enjoyed putting this one together.  You could do something like this with almost any type of stickers from any collection.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

  2. What a great idea.....I love how you back your openings with patterned paper. I haven't tried that for myself yet, but I love the way it looks!!
