A Summer Mini Album in December / My Scraps & More

Hey there, friends!  I hope you're having a nice weekend so far.  We're heading out later on to get our Christmas tree!

I have SO many Summer photos of my girls in the pool, so I decided to showcase a few cute ones in this album.  I used lots of mixed media on lots of the pages and had a great time making this!  I pulled out the Good Day Sunshine  and DIY Boutique collections from Simple Stories for most of this album.

I wound up making way more pages than I anticipated...mini albums are addictive!  What I like about this FP book is there are blank pages, pages with journaling lines, clear protectors for 4x6 photos and protectors for 3x4s.  Perfect for pocket cards!  Some pages I added photos...some I just embellished...some I journaled on.  Whatever struck my fancy is what I did with this :)

Now, check THIS out.  This is what is left of the album pages that I DID NOT use.  Seriously!  There are a TON of possibilities with this.  I knew with adding paste and chipboard that my album would get thick and bulky fast, so I took out a lot of  pages.  You can use way more if your album is flat.  OR you could make another entire album with what's left over.  A GREAT deal for $4.99!

And the pages hold gesso and paste really well.
