Back to School Crop & ScrapFIT Warm-Up

Wow...it has been almost a week since I posted!  What a blur this week has been.  I can't believe it's already Saturday again.  No complaints here, though...I love the weekend :)  There is a lot of fun going on in scrappy blog land this weekend...so hopefully you'll have some time to get creative.

All weekend long, My Scraps and More is hosting a Back to School Crop.  The fun began yesterday with lots of games and fun school-related challenges.  One of the "classes" I'm hosting is Journalism class, where the challenge is to include a "story" on your page of at least 3 to 4 sentences.  I scrapped these pictures of my silly daughter who likes to use her feet to hold her toys above her head...

I played around with modeling paste again...LOVE this stuff! So simple to use, yet it creates such a complex look & texture. Amazing!

I used the Echo Park For the Record 2 {Tailored} line here...one of my faves! You can pick this up in the My Scraps store...and there's a discount code!! You should definitely join us at the Crop. There are tons of prizes to win along the way in addition to the grand prize. There are tons more challenges being issued today, and even more tomorrow! Come check it out!

In other scrappy news, ScrapFIT's September Warm-Up #31 is up, and it's also a fun one! I know I used to have a blank piece of cardstock to begin every layout with. This challenge is to start your layout with PATTERNED PAPER. Here is what I created...

Easy, right?! You have until September 19th to play along with us over at ScrapFIT, and if your layout is chosen, you will be featured in the FITGirl Spotlight later this month. Give it a go and play along with us! Enter HERE. Don't forget to also check out our current Step Class with Ashley Horton.  It was revealed this morning, and it's a fun one!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!
