Think Happy Be Happy / My Creative Scrapbook

Friday has arrived!  Yesssss!  This has been a busy week...I'm finally getting time to post a layout.  This is a page I created using the April Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.  I based it on Sketch #75 from My Scraps and More.  I wanted to keep this simple and sweet.  I love the pinks and reds together in this Pebbles collection.  I added in the touches of blue, and I think it turned out really nice.

The kit contains a huge pack of die-cut flowers and butterflies.  I added in a few of them, and I added in a few die-cut file tab pieces behind my photos.  I used pre-made tags in the other spots and added some cord.

Pop dots make something simple so much more interesting, I think.  It helps to create depth and shadows to an otherwise flat page.

I did add a bit of modeling paste to my background just to give it a little texture.  I also added in a few stamps.

More cute little flowers and paste dots next to the journaling :)

Here's last week's sketch over at My Scraps.  You have all of April to join in...and there's a new sketch today!  Every Friday....be sure to check'em out!

You can go HERE to check out all the My Creative Scrapbook Kits, and HERE to see the Design Team's Gallery.  We have some amazing Guest Designers this month!

Thanks for taking a peek today, and enjoy your weekend!

What are the little glue dot things on the layout that you talk about?

    1. Thanks, Sherry! Those dots are modeling paste over a dot stencil. It's pretty easy to do if you have the materials :)
