Hey there, everyone! Happy Friday to you all :) I wanted to let you know about this month's Warm-Up over at ScrapFIT. This is one of two monthly challenges there where you can play along to win a feature in the FITGirl Spotlight. The Warm-Up is one and the Step Class is the other. If you win either one, you get to show off your work and let everyone know more details about you. It's a great way to get your name & face out there and let everyone see what you can do.
This month's Warm-Up centers on the TITLE of your project. It needs to be a long title, and it needs to be either a question or a complete sentence. Here is the sample layout I made using MME's On the Bright Side. It was like pulling teeth to get my daughter to smile for me...I kept begging, and she kept giving me these cheesy fake grins. They crack up me up every time I see these pictures!
I created some distressed layers and stitched a little bit on the chevron patterns. I also punched half-circles to create a banner.
A close-up of my paint...I literally just squeezed the bottle of paint onto the paper and let it drip. So easy! I love the touch of bright orange.
Thanks for stopping by...hope you have a great weekend!
What an adorable LO and I love this loooooonnnnngggg title!! I'm lovin' this drippy paint too!! ~ Blessings

Totally adorable, Missy!! I love the MME on this and those pictures are just too cute!! I especially love the first one on the bottom row! :) That orange paint is really awesome peeking out from the torn corner, and I love the stitching on the chevron pattern and the cute banner across your page!!
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures. Kids have such perfect smiles naturally, it's just so hard to capture them on camera! Love the festive colors and her little crown!
ReplyDeleteOoh, you did WELL with that LOOOONG title!! Wow! I'm TERRIBLE at long titles, so I'm glad I'm not eligible for this challenge, lol- gives me an excuse!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this is super adorable too- your sequence of photos is perfect- and isn't that how it goes sometimes?- or most times- taking 50 shots just to get that ONE smile!
Fabulous work, my friend :)
