I have two layouts to share with you today...the first one is for ScrapFIT's latest workout. I was so excited to do this one because it's a sketch from our Creative Trainer, Diana Fisher. She creates some of the most amazing sketches, and this one is no exception.
Here is what I made. I used a circle template and painted all around it using different water colors.
Here is the sketch:
Holly Craft Originals is our sponsor this month. The winner of this workout will receive a $20 gift certificate to purchase any of these amazing fabric embellishments.
My next layout is for Challenge Me Happy. This is challenge #24, and it's a scraplift. Our example layout comes from the incredibly talented Nina Ostermann. She's a magician with papers & scissors, and she has chosen a fabulous page for us all to scraplift. You can visit Nina's blog HERE for more inspiraation. Check out her page:
This was fun for me, especially since I used some gorgeous Graphic 45 papers given to me from the Scrappin' Patch. Our awesome leader Annelie Maddock sent them to me, and I was thrilled because this was my very first time using Graphic 45. I was nervous at first because they are at the total opposite end of the spectrum for what I usually use...but I wound up loving the final product!
The prize for this challenge is some very cool chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard from Australia.
Gorgeous work today, as always. I love the contrast with the 2 pages - one so bright and the other so lovely and muted. Shows your versatility! Amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteTwo amazing layouts!!! I love the "true Missy style" in the first, with the watercolors and beautiful bright colors. The second is gorgeous, too, you did an awesome job with the softer, feminine look. I agree, you are very versatile!
ReplyDeleteMissy, those circles on your first layout are A-MAZ-ING!! It just pops off the page! Great job using Diana's sketch!! And I love the soft colors from the G45 line on your second layout. Such a sweet photo and layout!
ReplyDeleteYour layouts are so fun. I particularly love the watercolors on the first one. So bright and happy! Great job on the lift. Such a pretty pic.
