Treasured Hunt Round 3

I was so excited to see that I made it to Round 3 in Treasured Scrapbooking's Treasured Hunt. The competition is VERY stiff...all the ladies are SO creative and their pages are amazing. The rules for this challenge were:

Use ONE technique and really "go to town" with it
Use only 1 photo
Use black & white somewhere
Add some bling [sparkles]

Here is what I created:

My tecnique was glimmer mist [of course!]. It has become my favorite thing to do lately...you can create color on anything! I misted a piece of white cardstock using a laser cut die...I think it made such a pretty background! I misted three white silk flowers to make them aqua. I used those flowers as a mask on white cardstock and misted over them to create two other flowers. I misted the blue strip of paper behind the photo. I misted the blue photo mat. I misted the 8. I cut and misted the leaves, and I also misted the flower ribbon...it was white when I grabbed it off the shelf!

I used rhinestones and stickles for my bling, and the black & white is obvious.
