A few layouts

Here are few layouts I've been working on over the past few days. I feel like such a dummy...I did this first one for the latest My Mind's Eye Challenge, and I completely forgot that the layout was supposed to be a Thank You page! Mine has nothing to do with that, so I'm not entering it. I still like how it turned out, though! [Blonde moment!]

I created a patterned paper background with a stencil and glimmer mist [my latest obsession!] and it turned out really pretty.

And a few more...lots of experimenting with misting and using random things as masks :) This first one is of Paige...every night after her bath, she immediately grabs the powder, tries to eat it, then kicks it and knocks it around. She'd rather play with that than a toy! And that heart is NOT's pewter metal, and it says I Love You on it...I forgot to take a close up.

And another layout of Paige's 8-month pictures. I still have a few more from this shoot to scrap, so you'll probably be seeing those soon :)

  1. Oh, I love these LO's so much!!! Love the colors and the flowers on the bath tub LO. On the powder playtime LO, I love the splatery looking misting and how you used the circles. The 8 month LO is soooo fabulous. Love the stencil misting, the flowers, the ribbon, the paper, the pictures. It's fantastic!!! You should link one of the stencil LO's to Scrapbookers Anonymous. We haven't posted the prize yet but it looks like it's going to be some Sassafrass Lass goodies!

  2. Thank you, Lea!! I just linked the 8 months layout...thanks for the tip! I had fun doing these...the misting is so easy and creates such a beautiful look.

  3. Hi Missy.
Those misting layouts are wonderful. i just love them both. the colors are perfect for the photos. I also think your MME layout matches awesome with the photos. the papers you selected enhance the photos. =)

  4. Thank you, Theresa! I was so excited about it, and then I realized I had completely missed the "thankful" aspect. Our house was built in 1955, and the girls' bathroom is that old green color, so these papers matched perfectly!
