My Scraps & More Color Challenge

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.  I have no plans this weekend, and I love it that way...that way I can scrap at my convenience :)  I have a layout to share today that I created for the latest color challenge at My Scraps & More.

Here is the color palette:

Here is what I made...a big ol' mess!  I started with a black background and went for the paint and started smudging, smearing and dragging.  It's so weird how I can make one layout totally messy like this one, and then my next one will be all nice & neat.  I think I'm a bi-polar scrapper!  Is that possible?  Haha :)

This picture of my daughter was from a random Saturday afternoon.  She had on whatever clothes were clean that day...and obviously they didn't match at all.  We were just hanging around at the house, so who cares, right?  Well, the colors went perfectly with this color scheme, so I used it :)

That's it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by...enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  1. Amazing!! I love that you used a black background here- works really well w/the colors you've used! Fab tearing along the left edge w/the stitching- beautiful work, Missy!!

  3. How great that her outfit matched the color pallet! I love all the smearing and smudging! I think we all are abit scrap-polar when it comes to layouts! It's fun to do some different styles. I love this as much as I love the cute and fun layouts!
