It has been a while since I've been able to play along with a challenge just for fun. I've been wanting to take part in a Love My Tapes challenge for a long time, and I finally made time to do just that. The challenge was to use decorative tape to create a banner. I love banners and I love tape, so this was super fun!
I brought out my So Happy Together collection from Echo Park that I need to use up and created this page:
Thanks for stopping by! I have more pages to share over the weekend. Have a great Friday, friends!

A few My Scraps layouts
Good morning, scrappy friends! It seems as if my scrappy posts are few and far between these days. I am finally able to sit down after a super busy week and post a few pages that I made a few weeks ago. Thank goodness we are on Christmas Break now, so hopefully I'll have lots of scrappy time in the near future. I still have to wrap presents...I haven't even started! Once I get started, I'll get in the "wrapping zone," but I just haven't felt like doing it yet. It's on my To Do list for today, though!
I have three pages to share today that were up on the My Scraps & My Scraps Sketches Blogs recently. The first one was up on the blog a few weeks ago. I finally got my hands on an arrow stencil and I was dying to use it! I also wanted to try out the triangle trend. I found a great sketch at Scrapfriends and got busy. I used the gorgeous papers from Studio Calico's Heyday collection. I have also been enjoying my new early Christmas present...my Cameo! How did I survive without this thing all these years?! Haha! It's amazing! I love all the cuts you can get, but I really love that it cuts any font on your computer!
Here is the sketch:
This page was based off of last week's sketch at the My Scraps Sketch Blog. My silly Paige decided to chew on this doll's hat...what a goof she is! :) These are papers from an old K & Company Halloween stack. I just love cute Halloween papers!
And another Halloween page...this one was up on the boards a few weeks ago for a {play} challenge. The challenge was to create some sort of grid on your page. I used the same K & Company papers for this one.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful Saturday and an even better Christmas!

My Scraps & More January Kit Reveal
Hey there, scrappy friends! I wanted to share a few projects I created using the January Kit "You Are My...Happy" from My Scraps and More. I have to say that I really love this kit! The colors are just gorgeous...the blues, yellows & greys really look great together. I had lots of fun creating these pages!
This page was easy to throw together. I just created strips from several of the patterned papers and added them to the top and bottom. My arrows are the negative cuts from another arrow shape on one of my other pages. I loved the way they looked, so I didn't want to waste them. I love the folder tabs that are included in the kit...the good thing is that you can cut them and only use one tab at a time and you still have one of the same left over to use again :)
I have always admired the amazing work of Georgia Heald, and I was inspired by one of her beautiful pages. She used almost these same papers, and I wanted to try out her style. My page doesn't come close to her masterpiece, but it was fun trying something new! If you haven't seen Georgia's work, check it out here. Lots of amazing inspiration!

I created this page on Kraft cardstock to show how great these papers play off of any neutral background. I used a chevron stamp from my stash & some inks to dirty up my background a little. I really love the journaling spots paper...lots of places for storytelling. And don't forget about the washi tape...love that!
I love this page...I don't scrap photos of just me and my husband often. I've only done a few in my scrappy life, and every time I do, I wonder why I don't do it more often. It's fun to break away from the kids once in a while and focus on us. This page is based on an exclusive sketch that is included in this kit. I added the flower, brad & button from my stash.
If you like what you see, you can purchase this kit right HERE in the My Scraps store. Use the code MISSY20 and get 20% off! Sounds like a great Christmas gift to yourself or for a scrappy friend :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Sunday!

ScrapFIT #82 & Challenge Me Happy #36
Hey there, scrappy friends! Another week has flown by since I posted any projects...wow! Why does this month seem to just make time go into fast-forward mode? It seems I've been going non-stop lately, and I'm refusing to do anything stressful today :) We're having a lazy day at home...no hustle & bustle, which I love! I hope you're able to slow down a bit and relax with some fun scrappy inspiration :)
I have two reveals to share this lovely Saturday. First up is Workout #82 at ScrapFIT. It's one of my faves again...a Diana Fisher SKETCH! I just love her creativity, and her sketches always inspire me.
Check out the fun prize for the winner of this challenge...a LowCal FITKit from Paper Issues! If you don't want to wait to win this, you can head over there and buy one right now :)
Here's what I came up with...a cute little Halloween layout!
Head over to the blog HERE to check out the sketch and to see how the other DT members interpreted it. Lots of great inspiration over there :)
The latest challenge at Challenge Me Happy is an easy one...all you have to do is create a project with the word "LITTLE" on it somewhere! This is something everyone can do...and it can be interpreted in so many ways :) Here's what I came up with...another Halloween page :)
The prize for the winner of this challenge is a paper pack from My Little Shoebox! That's definitely worth playing for :) Head on over the blog to check out the other DT members' layouts...lots of fun "little" things :)
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

I do have a layout to share with you today. It was for last Saturday's {color} challenge over at My Scraps and More. I was inspired by the beautiful yellows, greys & aquas in Echo Park's Happy Little Moments line. It contains lots of journaling spots that are different shapes. They layer very well, so that's what I did here.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll try out for ScrapFIT's DT...it's a lot of fun! Have a wonderful Saturday :)

ScrapFIT Warm-Up #34 + some My Scraps pages
Good Thursday morning, friends! I feel like I don't blog enough these days. Things are just super busy right now and I'm hardly having any time to scrap. Mom duties are taking front and center these days. I'm the PTO president at my daughters' school, and let me tell you...it takes up quite a lot of time. We have a Christmas event coming up that has been taking some time to plan. I'm trying to squeeze in scrappy time whenever I can, and today is one of those days...yay!
Here is the December Warm-Up from ScrapFIT. It's a fun one...all you have to do is CREATE A SCENE of some sort on your project. You can create a sky, some grass, hills, add a sun, a moon, some trees & leaves...there really are a lot of possibilities. My sample is very simple...it went in a completely different direction than I originally planned. It didn't turn out nearly as messy as I wanted. That's okay...I like that the cute photos are the main focus :) I also got to break in my new Cameo! It's an early Christmas gift from my amazing husband...woo hoo! I love that it cuts words & fonts...it's awesome!
If you want to play along with this challenge, head on over & upload your project to the ScrapFIT linky. If you win, you'll be featured in our FITGirl Spotlight!
I also wanted to share a few pages I made in recent weeks for My Scraps and More. This first one was for last week's {play}challenge to make something CROOKED on your layout. I love not having things straight all the time, so I made my paper crooked as well as my photos. These are Acorn Avenue papers from Crate Paper.
This page was created from a sketch by the lovely Kristine Davidson for the My Scraps Sketches blog. A new sketch goes up every Friday, and there are prizes up for grabs! Check it out HERE. I got some Echo Park So Happy Together pages on Black Friday...a line I never bought before. I love it!

ScrapFIT #81 - Thankful
Happy Saturday, scrappy friends! December 1st is here (already) and that means a new ScrapFIT workout for you! This is Workout #81 and it's all about being THANKFUL. All you have to do is create a project showcasing something you're thankful for...easy, right?
I love these silly pictures of my two girls from two years ago. It was almost Halloween and we had visited the pumpkin patch earlier in the day, and these shots are from going to dinner afterward. They always make the goofiest faces! Looking at these photos reminded me just how grateful I am to have them & their silly senses of humor :) So my page is a thankful / Halloween page.
The winner of this Workout will receive the new December FITKit from Paper Issues! Check out the awesome buttons in this kit...they were specially designed by Leah Farquharson (Paper Issues DT member) and her store Bluebird Chic.
As always, you can enter to win, but you can also head over to Paper Issues right now and purchase one of these kits. Use the code FITKIT to get 20% off your purchase!
The ScrapFIT DT created some beauties...you should head on over to the blog HERE and check out their pages! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend :)
