Creating With Sketches V3 / Body Combat

Happy Monday, friends!  In case you haven't heard or seen yet, you need to know that Kristine Davidson's newest creation is here!  Creating With Sketches V3 is ready to be purchased...woo hoo!  It is overflowing with amazing sketches and beautiful layouts for your inspiration.  You can purchased the eBook right now, and you can get 10% off if you use the code V3Missy.  Visit the Creative Scrappers blog to get more information.

I had an AWESOME sketch to work from, and this is the layout I created for the Sketchbook.  I used some really bright and fun papers from October Afternoon and a few from my stash.  Those fun paper clip arrows are Freckled Fawn, and the green Here We Go above the photo is American Crafts.  I had lots of fun getting messy with this, and I incorporated my newest technique...machine stitching!

I decided to stitch my grid down with black thread.  I printed my journaling out for this one instead of handwriting it.  I love changing things up from time to time!

Here you can see the gesso and watercolors I used on the background paper.  I also added paint splatters and stamping.  And more stitching...isn't this green thread so pretty?

More gesso & watercolor here...I like the challenge of starting with a busy background and using mixed media products to tone it down.

If you'd like to purchase a copy of this amazing V3 Sketchbook or eBook, check out all the details HERE.   Don't forget to use the discount code!

You will not be disappointed...so many talented designers have projects in the Sketchbook, and there are SOOOOO many brand new sketches for you!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
