I began by choosing several patterned papers from the Main Kit that I could use for a rainbow color scheme. I used white cardstock to cut the Beautiful Life cut file and then used the papers to back the letters. I love that technique! I chose one of the Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours papers as my background, and I coated a lot of it with gesso. Once that dried, I used a lot of the Lindy's Tweedle Dee Denim Flat Magical Powder from the Color Kit. I just sprinkled some powder onto the paper and used water and my brush to spread it around. I applied several coats because it does dry a lot lighter. I also added in some of the Glittering Gold and mixed it with a few other yellows from older kits as well as some older pink powders. Once it all dried, I did use some gelatos from my stash to smudge in a few darker spots.
I love these bold blue shades! I added some adhesive foam behind my cut file to raise it up off the page a bit. I did a lot of fussy cutting...lots of flowers from one of the Dear Lizzy papers. I scattered those around the cut file in a few places. I also used a tiny heart stamp from the exclusive stamp set with a gold ink pad from my stash.
More fussy cut flowers and stamping as well as some hot pink tangled thread. I also tucked in a floral die cut here from Pretty Little Studio and a Journaling Spot from Paige Evans Truly Grateful. I wanted the "life" part of the cut file to stand out, so I pulled one of the Dear Lizzy papers and traced the word on to it. I cut it out and glued it behind the cut file to create a fun shadow effect.
Here you can really see how fun the dimension is!
Here above the cut file I added in a few stickers and a Truly Grateful Puffy Phrase Sticker. I love that matte gold color!
More flowers and stickers here...
I love this little sun puffy sticker...so cute! It's from Truly Grateful.
And here come a lot more close-ups....
