Hey there, friends! I hope this Wednesday finds you doing well :) I'm popping on this afternoon to share a layout I created for {stash} challenge at My Scraps and More earlier this week. The challenge was to use up some of your twine or floss...in any way you want! I stitched some and made some loops. Usually, I tie bows in my buttons with it, but I didn't use any on this page! I'm trying to use up what's left of my So Happy Together line from Echo Park. I still have more to go!
I wanted to try out a background shape with my Cameo, so I cut this hexagon pattern. I love how it turned out! I'm sort of obsessed with cutting shapes & words now :)
I used this month's sketch over at Artful Delight...check it out!
Thanks for stopping by today!

ScrapFIT - Negative Punches
Happy Sunday, scrappy friends! I hope you've had a great weekend so far. School starts back up for the kids around here on Tuesday, so we have today and one more day to be lazy before the craziness goes back into full effect. I'll be somewhat glad, though, to get back into our normal routine. And I know the girls are getting bored...they'll be glad to get back to school.
Anyway, I wanted to share the latest Warm-Up over at ScrapFIT. The rules are to use NEGATIVE PUNCHES on your project. Sometimes it seems like we punch our shape and then the paper we have left with the big hole in it is just trash. Not so! Don't throw those scraps away....use them! I used both the punch itself and the negative. I love how this turned out!
I'm on a mission to use up my So Happy Together line from Echo Park...I've made about five pages from the leftovers so far...and I still have more!
If you'd like to play along with this challenge, you need to link up your project by noon on January 19th on the ScrapFIT blog HERE. The winner will be featured in our FITGirl Spotlight later this month!
Thanks so much for visiting me today....have a great day!

Still scrappin' Halloween...
Happy Saturday, friends! Saturday is my new blog posting day over at My Scraps and More. Today I'm sharing a page I created using the Witch Hazel line from October Afternoon.
I used one of Diana Fisher's sketches...I never tire of them. They are all amazing!
Thank you so much for stopping by...I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
The line is still available in the store HERE.
It's a lot of fun, and I like that it throws in some blue and that
witchy green color. It reminds me of the Wicked Witch of the West from
The Wizard of Oz...her exact skin tone! I always thought that Halloween
pages could only consist of black, orange & some purple for some
reason. Not true! The embellishment stickers are fun in this line,
too!
To create this page, I started off with a busy patterned paper. Those
chevrons are like an optical illusion...so I took an old credit card and
smeared some black paint all around. I like how it's transparent...you
can still see the chevrons, but they're really toned down. Plus it
anchors everything else. I knew I wanted to use that black tree since
these pics were of my girls outside on Halloween. The rest just came
together. I love the colors and how it turned out!

Tickes & Giggles
Happy Thursday, friends! I have a page to share today. It's for today's {play}challenge at My Scraps and More. The challenge is to use some kind of DIE CUT on your page. I'm having a blast playing with my new Cameo...and I've become obsessed with cutting new fonts! I just love it.
I kept wanting to add more "stuff" to this page, but I couldn't figure out what, so I just left it. I gessoed the striped paper and then went around the edges of all my layers with some reddish-pinkish paint. I just smudged it with my finger. I feel like it needs something more....but I get frustrated when I sit and stare at it for so long. So I just decided to keep it as is.
If you're looking for a place to get inspiration from, My Scraps is the place! There are challenges nearly every day, crops at least once a month, and lots of prizes to win! There's even a sketch blog with a weekly sketch. The women are so friendly and supportive...no drama at all. I love it there, and I'd love to see you there, too!

Challenge Me Happy #37 & ScrapFIT #83
Happy New Year, scrappy friends! I hope you're enjoying the first day of 2013 so far. We tried to stay up until midnight, but my eyelids weren't having it...haha. It's time for a few reveals since it's the FIRST of January!
First up is Challenge #37 at Challenge Me Happy. It's a recipe challenge. You must use the following on your project:
* a quote
* stamping
* bird/s
* arrows
* brads
I pulled out one of my favorite lines...Sketchbook by AC. My little Paige is always dumping her Cheerios onto the floor, and then she likes to sit there and eat them off the carpet. It always makes me think of the "5-second rule," so I had to use that as my title :) They are there a lot longer than five seconds, though...haha. I used used a mask & ink to create my arrows, my birds & loopy loops are stamped, I used coordinating AC brads, and my quote is at the bottom.
Next up is Workout #83 at ScrapFIT - Wish Upon a Star! That's right...you must use STARS on your project. Easy peasy, right? :) Here's what I came up with...
I used a mask and some ink to create my background stars. I used my Cameo to cut the larger stars. My papers are from a MME 6x6 paper pack...love those! I added a few buttons, some washi tape, some ink drips, and a few embellishments from other MME collections. I also used my Cameo to cut my title. I love how this page turned out...so much fun to create!
Be sure to visit both these blogs to check out what the other DT members have created. I promise you'll find lots of inspiration to get you scrapping in the new year!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a WONDERFUL day!

My Top 12 of 2012
Happy New Year's Eve, friends! I can't believe it's almost 2013...I'm still trying to catch up from 2010...haha! I think I blinked and a few years just fast-forwarded on by...sigh. I've never compiled a yearly list of my favorite layouts before, but I wanted to do it this year. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be...only choosing 12 of my favorite pages! I was originally only going to choose ten, but I went with 12 instead. Here they are in no particular order:
1. This page was created for a ScrapFIT Workout to use misting on your page. Not only do I love how my stitched stars turned out, but I just adore these pictures of my chunk...haha!
2. This page was created for Challenge Me Happy...to use the word "new" in your title. I love the bright colors, the misting, the paint smudges, and I really love how I was able to recreate the chevrons in Reese's swimsuit.
3. This was another ScrapFIT workout, but for the Warm-Up. The rules were to create some sort of cluster on your page. I love how this one turned out...plus I was able to use mist & paint again :)
4. This is one of my favorites...not only because of the gorgeous photo of Reese, but because I won Honorable Mention at My Mind's Eye with it! I couldn't believe it!
5. Ahhh...some Echo Park goodness! This was created for a challenge at My Scraps & More...I love the paint drips and the color combination...plus I had just started using washi tape! A definite fave of mine now!
6. This page was created with some MME Lime Twist for My Scraps and More several months ago. I love the simplicity of this page, and the photos are just so cute. I love the blues in the photos and how they are the first thing you see.
7. Another Challenge Me Happy page...scrapping about yourself 10 years ago. I was teaching high school and I was the JV Cheerleading Coach. I like the layout of this one and how I incorporated the school colors into it. It brings back lots of sentimental memories.
8. Another My Scraps layout...this one featured some Fancy Pants. It was for the DT monthly reveal. I love these photos, and of course, the paint drips & smudges.
9. This page was for Artful Delight...lots of MME in this kit. I just love the design of this one...the little clothespins, the matching paint drips, and the wooden hearts. Plus...the adorable photos of my little Pippy :)
10. This is a more recent page I created for My Scraps...it's based on a Kristine Davidson sketch. It was featured on the My Scraps Sketches blog a few weeks ago. I love the Echo Park papers and all the fun bits & pieces at the bottom.
11. Another My Scraps page...this one features the January kit, and it's based on an exclusive Jenny Evans sketch included in the kit. I just love the picture of me and Marshall...all the strips, and it features one of my very first Cameo cuts!
12. Ahhhh...washi love! This was for ScrapFIT...to use washi tape. That's all I used :) Lots of strips. I added some stamps and buttons. Love the bright colors all mixed together and the sweet pictures.
I can't believe I narrowed my favorites down...there were so many more that I just love! It's fun to go back and see what you've accomplished over the past 12 months. I created just over 200 layouts. I served on the Artful Delight DT, and I made the My Scraps & More DT. I continued to serve as the ScrapFIT Warm-Up Coach, and I continued on the Challenge Me Happy DT. I got a blog makeover and got my Cameo. I won a few challenges & blog hop prizes. I also made lots of new scrappy friends and became better friends with others. It's been a great year scrappy-wise, and I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store!

Three My Scraps pages
Hey there, scrappy friends :) It's the last Sunday of the year...can you believe it?! I really don't see how an entire year has flown by. It seems like we were just getting ready to welcome 2012, and here we are nearly saying goodbye to it. Before we do, though, I wanted to share three pages I've created in the past few weeks for My Scraps and More. They were all created for various challenges & blog posts.
This page was created using the Thankful collection from Authentique...totally not my style at all! However, it wound up growing on me and now I think it's amazing :) It was perfect for these Thanksgiving photos of an event at my daughter's school. I used my new Cameo to cut my title...can I just say how amazing this machine is?! This page was made for a blog post last week.
This layout was based on the latest sketch (#9) on the My Scraps Sketches blog...the amazing Kristine Davidson created the sketch, and it's awesome! I used the January "You Are My...Happy" kit from My Scraps & More...I've created SO many projects with this one kit! I especially love this patterned background I cut from my Cameo...I love that it can cut those little teeny parts so smoothly. Check out the sketch HERE...you still have time to join in and perhaps win a prize!
This layout is featured on the blog today. I used the Acorn Ave collection from Crate Paper. This is based on a lift, and the challenge will be up on the boards in the morning. There are some really busy papers in this collection, but the colors are beautiful, and I love how this one came together.
You can find all of these collections in the My Scraps store right HERE.
I'm caught up now with my blog posts...haha! Life has gotten in the way lately and I haven't been posting as often as I'd like. Tomorrow I'll be posting my top 10 pages of 2012...it's going to be hard to choose my faves!
Thank you so much for stopping by....have a great day!
