Happy Monday, friends! Here's my newest layout for Pinkfresh Studio using the new Noteworthy collection. It's such a beautiful line...oh my gosh! When I can't decide on which papers to use, I just try to create a design that allows me to use a lot of them. Punches are awesome for that! I used a circle punch to create these fun little banners to string across the page.
I used smooth white cardstock as my base, and I used the Liquid Watercolors to add some watercolor goodness to it. I first applied clear gesso. I mixed the Bubble Gum & Lavender together to get that pretty pinkish-purple color. I mixed in tad bit of Candy Apple and some white acrylic paint drops. Once that dried, I cut the circles in half and arranged them into banners.
I used a lot of the Ephemera Die Cut flowers & leaves here beside the photo as well as this cute bird. I did add some adhesive foam behind my photo to raise it up off the page. I used some tangled thread in pink and yellow here to add more texture and color.
I ran each half-circle through my edge distresser to create some messy texture to them. I lightly glued the edges down and then machine stitched with white thread. I always love to stitch through banners like this! I found another adorable bird here...a Puffy Sticker. And I love that it's yellow. I love that pop of color right there.
By only gluing and stitching the straight edges, I could easily bend up the circle parts. This makes them much more dimensional and gives them the effect of blowing in the breeze :) I used some of the multi-colored small Puffy Alphas here for a title and added in a sticker.
Since my photo had a lot of black on it, I was able to layer a few things on top of it. I used a circle sticker here with a heart epoxy sticker on top of it as well as more leaf die cuts. I also used this cute green camera puffy sticker, more pink thread and some enamel dots. All of these goodies are in the Noteworthy collection.
More close-ups of all the beautiful banners :) I wrote a little bit of journaling here along the curved lines using a black fine-tip Sharpie.
I couldn't stop myself from adding more things....haha. Here's another puffy sticker. I seriously love every single piece in this collection.
More die cuts, puffy stickers & enamel dots down here. You can see the difference adding adhesive foam makes.
And a few more...
I hope this inspires you to get your hands on this collection...it's definitely one of my favorites. I love how this turned out!
Be sure to check out my process video over on the Pinkfresh Studio Channel.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!
