Happy Monday, friends! I'm sharing my newest layout for the Paige Evans Design Team today. I used Paige's Wonders collection along with one of her older cut files. It's called Wonky Plaid Background, and I cut in on Paper 02 from Wonders. I just love the rainbow colors! I tore the paper and added parts of it to a sheet of thick white cardstock. I coated most of the background with clear gesso to prep it for some fun mixed media :)
I used a variety of Shimmerz sprays...I used Deep Blue Sea, Jeni B Bleu, Elfin Magic, Mustard Seed, No Yoking, Pop Art Pink, Cotton Candy and Princess. I embellished with lot of the large flowers from the Floral Die Cuts.
I just love these giant flowers. They seemed intimidating at first, but once I started playing with them they were really fun to use. I layered two over here on the right side and tucked in some green and blue thread. I also used a gold foiled heart that I took off of one of the Lollies stickers.
For the title I mixed and matched one of the Puffy Phrase Stickers with some of the little mini alphas from the 8-page Sticker Book. I stuck the letters to some white cardstock and then cut it out so it would be one word. I popped it up with some adhesive foam, and then I added "adventures" which I cut from Paper 12. I mixed two blue threads here as well.
I couldn't resist making a cute banner border out of these cute Puffy Stickers. I stuck them to some white cardstock first and then cut them out.
More big beautiful flowers over here on this side along with some orange and pink thread. I just love how the flowers and leaves curl up like this :)
At the top of the photo I layered in a few more big journaling spot die cuts and a few more smaller flowers.
Here are a few more close-ups of all the details :)
I really had fun putting this page together...I just love using ALL the colors like this! I hope this gives you some ideas to try on your next layout.
Be sure to check out my process video to see the journey this page took...haha :D
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
