Hey there!  Today I'm sharing another layout I created using the My Creative Scrapbook March Main Kit.  It's full of the Now & Then Dorothy collection from My Mind's Eye.  LOVE the colors in this line...so pretty!

I started this layout by creating a large die cut pattern on my Cameo.  I wanted it to be white-on-white just for some subtle texture & design in the background.  I layered in a lot of banner cut pieces and added some watercolor behind them.  I knew I wanted to use lots of the different patterns, and this was a fun and easy way to do it.

I wanted to make this big pink chipboard flower a focal point. I made it a cluster with some stickers, thread and cord.  I added some pop dots to this bird...who now looks upside down.  Oops!  Oh, well...sometimes they fly upside down, right?  Haha :)

More layers...more stickers...more thread.  I just love adding fun embellishments...

Here you can see the die cut texture a little better.  It's a background cut, and it reminds me of a tree trunk.  I just wanted to use it...no rhyme or reason why.  Sometimes it doesn't make sense, but I just feel like doing it :)
