Silly. Happy. Funny. @ Artful Delight

Hey there, friends!  I hope you're enjoying your Sunday.  It's so nice & sunny here, but just stepping out the front door results in immediate sweat.  You'd think I'd be used to the Florida humidity after living here all my life, but it is still so stifling.  I forecast some pool time in our near future!

I'm hopping online today to share my third layout for the month at Artful Delight.  I made five pages from the September kit, and I still have product left over.  For this page, I used Echo Park, Kaiser Craft & October Afternoon goodies.  Lately, I've been crazy about using busy background papers.  I did use a little gesso to fade out some of the pattern right around the red circle.  I love the effect gesso gives!  And it's really easy to use.

You really should check out this kit...so full of fun & bright patterns & colors!  Also, there is a DT call going on for Artful Delight...I promise you it's an amazing team to be a part of!  Click HERE for details.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

  4. We are just the opposite here, weatherwise. Looking at sunshine from the window and stepping out to frost. Yikes! What happened to fall? Love your layout with the hilarious photo and how you used the gesso to mute the pattern a bit. That is a great idea! I always love the fun you bring to your layouts!
