My Mind's Eye Challenge #26

I've had these My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup papers for a while and decided to make a layout with them and enter it into their monthly contest.

Here's the sketch:


And here's what I created. This came together really fast. It's so much easier to scrap a page when you have all matching papers & embellishments! I kept thinking I wanted to add more, but I wound up leaving it as is. Sometimes I think less is better :) I loved the bright colors in this paper collection. I added some scalloped-shape stitching on the sides.

I added some orange decorative ribbon that I found at Michael's on clearance.

    I love the telephone paper...it looks like you did something to the edges..what was it? I really like that kinda shabby look but I don't know how to acheive it.
