I had just the pictures for this week's Sketchy Thursdays sketch! More pictures of last year's Christmas...Paige's first.
Here is the sketch:
And here is what I made. I broke out some paint for this one! I cut a piece of bubble wrap, dabbed some red craft paint on it and used it as a big stamp. I really love how it turned out. I used some old papers from a DCWV Christmas stack I've had a for a while. I also used some Martha Stewart tape...I bought it on clearance after the holidays, and I love it! It's so easy to use. To create the bracket, I used my Nestabilities die in my Cuttlebug, and then dabbed red paint on it as well. To create my bracket-like border around the white paper, I used a Martha punch around the page I just bought with my birthday money (and a 50% off coupon!)...yay!
Here is a close-up of my bubble wrap stamp :)
For these circles, I used the top to a spray bottle and dabbed it in some green paint...love the look!
Here are few more Christmas pages I did throughout the week...I still have a few more to go. I want to get them finished so I can put up all this red & green crowding my desk!
I love this little Santa! He's from the Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite cartridge. I couldn't wait to use him :) I misted the background and used some DCWV papers. I also used an EK Success scalloped punch. This is Reese last year.
More family pictures! This was at Grandma Darlene and Papa David's house last year. Grandma is an elementary school music teacher, and she has been teaching music lessons for years. She has pianos, organs, and even drums at her house. Reese loved checking them out :) I used the DCWV papers again here to create these strips.
Thank you for stopping by!
