Wow...it's already Wednesday?! This week is flying by. Having a holiday on Monday really makes me forget what day it is. I have two layouts to share today. They are both part of my DT challenges at My Scraps and More. You are more than welcome to join us over there and play along! You will not be disappointed at the inspiration there...there is always something going on.
My first layout was for a "Play" challenge. The rule for this one was to create a banner of some sort and connect the pieces using twine, floss or ribbon. Here is what I made:
I just had to use this awesome sketch by Diana Fisher...it's just perfect (as usual!)
My second layout is for a Quote challenge. I have so many summer pool photos to scrap, so I found this really awesome summer quote: "Because it's summer and the memories are just waiting to happen." So right for this page :) I pulled out some of my old (and I mean really old) summer stickers and used them up. I remember buying all these themed stickers years ago when I thought every single page had to have matching stickers on them...haha!
I used a sketch for this one, too...an older one from Creative Scrappers. Love the circles on this one!
That's it for today. Thank you so much for checking out my pages...hope you have a great day! I'll be back more this week with more reveals :)

Stash Challenge @ My Scraps & More
Happy Friday! It's finally here. This has been a long week for some reason. I just finished sweeping, mopping & dusting, and have a load of laundry going, so now it's scrappy time! I want to share a layout today that I actually made a few weeks ago for one of my monthly DT challenges at My Scraps and More. I love stash challenges because you get to dig into your old stuff and use it up. And I know you have tons of it stored away. The new lines come in and take over, and then we have quite the collection going on!
For this challenge, the only papers you could use needed to be from a 4x6 mat stack or a 6x6 paper pack. The background could be 12x12, of course, but everything else has to be smaller. I have several DCWV 4x6 stacks that I've had for years, and they're just sitting there. Why not use them up? I also dug into the archives of my K & Company embellishments and found a chipboard sticker sheet that went perfectly with my papers.
Here is what I came up with. I love the soft colors against the kraft cardstock.
If you want more inspiration on a daily basis, join us on the forums at My Scraps and More. There is literally at least one challenge a day going on over there, and it's so much fun! Don't forget about the shop as well...lots of new Echo Park & October Afternoon in stock! We are also gearing up for a summer-long contest that is chock full of challenges! I appreciate your visit...thank you so much for stopping by!

Artful Delight Layout
Good morning! I am excited to share with you my fourth layout featuring the May kit from Artful Delight. This wound up being one of my favorite pages...I just love the way it came together. It mostly features the Echo Park This & That Graceful collection, but there is a little bit of Crate Paper thrown in as well. I am so in love with banners these days, and this EP collection makes it so easy to use them. I also used the super cute pre-made flowers included in the kit...I'm not sure what they're called, but they just have a shredded look to them. They match the papers perfectly!
Paige was just getting interested in Cheerios here, and she liked to sneak up to the coffee table, dump her sister's plate over and eat them. I have video of it...it was so cute! Now she mows them down by the handful! Hope you guys have a wonderful day! Thank you so much for stopping by...it really does mean so much that you visit my blog :)

More MME at My Scraps & More
Good morning, scrappy friends! I wanted to pop on this morning and share with you two more layouts I created for My Scraps & More this month. Tammi sent us lots of My Mind's Eye Lime Twist, and a few days ago I shared the pages I made using Life of the Party. Today I want to share the two pages I made using Happy Go Lucky. This one contains so much purple...thank goodness I have two little girls! It was just perfect for us. Here is what I made...
Reese finally decided to try out the big-girl swing on this day, and she did pretty good for her first try :) This layout is a little too "clean" for me, but I wanted to challenge myself to try something different. I did splatter pink paint, but I didn't go too crazy. I really love how bright the grass looks in the photo, and I didn't want to add much more green to the layout. The buttons were just the right touch.
I found this blingy word in the $1 section at Michaels, and I've had it for so long. I love finding cute little scrappy items for only a buck...you never know when it might just go with your page! I have quite the collection of random $1 items just waiting for their perfect pages :)
I was inspired by this awesome sketch from Sketch Savvy:
Don't forget to check out the online store at My Scraps & More...Tammi offers great prices, and there is almost always a sale going on! Also, you should check out the forum. There are so many awesome ladies there and there is some kind of challenge going on every single day. We have some really fun things coming up for summer!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I truly appreciate it. I'll have more to share coming up this week...hope you have a great Sunday :)

For this one, I really wanted to use one of the bracket shaped papers, so I added a portion of it to the bottom. I also punched circles to create the banner at the top...I'm so addicted to those!

My Scraps & More MME Reveal
Happy Friday, scrappy friends! Hope your weekend is getting off to a great start. This week at My Scraps and More, we are revealing some fun layouts created with My Mind's Eye's Lime Twist collection. Tammi sent me a ton of papers from two different color schemes, and I just went to town! All of these papers & embellies are available at the My Scraps and More online shop...GREAT deals there!
I created these pages using the Life of the Party line. This is one of my sweet little Paige crawling underneath the kitchen table. She actually got stuck under the chair, but we got her out...haha. She used to love hiding out there :)
I was inspired by this lovely sketch from Sketch Savvy.
I love these photos of Paige in her wagon...such a happy baby :)
This one is just so cute to me...I have always loved the way babies look from behind, and I couldn't resist snapping some pics of Paige standing at the coffee table.
I will be back this weekend to share the layouts I created using the Happy Go Lucky line. Remember to check out the My Scraps and More store...lots of scrappy goodness at wonderful prices!

Artful Delight - You Make Me Happy
Wow! This is my second post for the day! I never do that...but today
is super busy and I have more than one reveal to share. Click HERE to
see my ScrapFIT reveal for Workout #68, featuring misting.
This reveal is all about Artful Delight and the May kit, which is just jammed with so much scrappy goodness! This is the third layout I created using it, and it just seems to keep going and going. Even though it has already sold out, you can still play along with this month's sketch challenge for a chance to win it!
Here is what I made using the Bazzill & Crate Paper patterned papers, along with some of the Echo Park This & That embellies from the sticker sheet. I used some plain old Crayola kids' watercolors to add some drippings to my background. It kind of reminded me of rain, since my title is related to that.
These adorable little ribbon flowers are part of the kit...they add the perfect touch.
I created this little blue flower...super easy.
Don't forget about the sketch challenge...you still have 8 days to play! You really do want to win this kit...it's AMAZING! Thanks for stopping by!

ScrapFIT #68 - Mist Mania!
I'm so excited to share the latest ScrapFIT workout with you! It features one of my all-time favorite thing...MISTING! I love using it, and in honor of my obsession (haha!), Sara created a misting challenge just for me! I'm so over the moon that she title the challenge Missy's Mist Mania! I love it :)
Here is the layout I created...I used some chipboard stars as masks and misted away. I added some stitching to make them stand out even more. I couldn't resist scrapping these pictures of Paige's chunky belly. Baby chunk is so cute, especially because they don't even know it! They don't care if it's hanging out or showing...they just keep on going. I call it her little tank :)
You should definitely hop on over to the blog and check out what the other DT members created using mists. I'll be back in a few days with a misting tutorial on the ScrapFIT blog!

Challenge Me Happy #23
Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I spent the day being lazy...it was everything I thought it could be :) Today, I'm sharing my latest DT project for Challenge Me Happy. This is challenge #23 and it's a sketch!
Here it is....
I created this layout, using pictures of my little Reese at a local farm. Her summer camp class went on a field trip there a few years ago, and I tagged along. Her favorite part was definitely the pony ride :) For this layout, I used random sheets of patterned paper and some Bazzill cardstock. I had some super cute farm animal stickers that I found a few years ago in the Current catalog...you know, that one you get in the mail all the time that has cards, wrapping paper, and other little things like note pads, checks & little knick knacks? Well they were having a buy-one-get-one sale and I saw these cute stickers and just knew I'd use them for a layout just like this.
You should definitely check out the rest of the DT's layouts. The prize this month is sponsored by My Little Shoebox! Who wouldn't want some scrappy goodness from them?!
Have a GREAT day! I'll be back tomorrow with more scrappy goodness :)

My Scraps & More - Mother May I Crop
Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope all you moms out there are enjoying your Mother's Day weekend. In honor of this very special day, My Scraps & More is having a Mother May I Crop. There are tons of challenges going on over there right now! So if you're in the mood to scrap, head on over there right now and check it out!
I'm hosting two of the challenges. One of them is a flower challenge. All you have to do is create a project using a bundle or bouquet of flowers. I created this Mother's Day card. It was a great way to use up some of my pre-made flower stash :)
My next challenge is to create a project focusing on MOM. Use a photo of her or you AND her together, and tell us why she's special or what you've learned from her. I pulled out this picture of my mom and me from 1977. Man, that was a long time ago!! My mom will probably kill me for posting this...but then she'll love it :) I used papers from Crate's Emma's Shoppe. I've had them for a while and I thought this was the perfect page to use them on. I love the vintage feel, and I love how they remind me of my childhood. Love the bookend paper!
I was inspired by this amazing sketch by Sketch Savvy:
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you join us at the Crop! Loads of fun going on...don't miss out :)

ScrapFIT Weekend Warm-Up #27 & NSD!
Happy National Scrapbooking Day, everyone!! I was hoping when I woke up this morning, there would be tons of scrappy presents sitting on my desk...kind of like Santa sneaking down the chimney and leaving loads of gifts for the kids! No such luck...just my same mess I left from yesterday...haha! I plan on getting in some scrapping today, for sure.
I wanted to let you know about May's Weekend Warm-Up over at ScrapFIT. All you have to do is create a layout, card or other project featuring FUSSY CUTTING. Here is the layout I made as a sample. All of the flowers and leaves were cut from patterned paper. A great way to make your own embellishments :)
I also wanted to let you know about a fantastic NSD giveaway chance over at Scrappin' Sisters. Erin and Kelly have compiled a fantastic batch of scrappy goodness that you could win! Check it out HERE to leave your comments. Thanks to Erin & Kelly for offering up these awesome prizes! Check them out...

ScrapFIT #67 - Decorate with a Doily!
Happy Tuesday! I meant to get this posted yesterday and time just got away from me...so many posts all happen at the same time and I get flustered...haha. I'm so excited about the latest workout at ScrapFIT! All you have to do is incorporate a DOILY onto your page or project.
I got a pack of rectangular doilies a while ago from the Dollar Tree for (you guessed it!) $1. I love that you can use them to frame photos, use them as masks, you can ink or paint them...treat them like patterned paper. So many way to utilize them!
I created a summer page...I have so many photos of my girls in the pool, and I'm right in the middle of scrapping all my photos from June and July 2010. That's pretty much all we do in the summer, so get ready for a lot of pool pics :)
I used some papers from a KI Memories Fancy Free stack I found at Michael's. I love using my 40% coupons for cute papers! Perfect for me because they're all bright colors :)
I am thrilled to be a sponsor for ScrapFIT for the month of May. It is truly a fantastic inspirational challenge blog with an awesome design team (and great tutorials too!). This month you'll have 2 chances to win some Dusty Attic chipboard. You can find a healthy selection of chipboard in my Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/vickyalberto. Please note that I just received my new shipment a few weeks ago and they are already selling out very fast - so be sure to check back often for re-stocking! You can also follow my personal scrapbooking blog at http://simplypaperandcreativity.blogspot.ca where I post updates about shipment arrivals as well as various ways to incorporate chipboard into your projects. Have fun creating this month with the workout challenges!
