My Scraps & More Stash Challenge

If you haven't joined the forum at My Scraps & More, you simply must! I have never seen such scrappy inspiration...there is a challenge every day, plus there is a birthday blog celebration coming up this weekend. The online store has the best prices I've seen around, and there is almost always a sale going on. You can't beat a scrappy sale :)

Anyway, my first challenge as a DT member was a stash challenge. I created this messy page with watercolors, and then I just randomly picked out a few pieces of old (and I mean REALLY old) patterned papers. I think one of them was a random Sandylion page I got from JoAnn's ages ago! The challenge is to use distressing and punching with your older than dirt papers :) As you can see, I didn't even use much paper. It was literally a few scrap pieces...just enough to make a few strips and a few lollipop flowers.

If you need some awesome scrappy inspiration, visit the MS&M blog. There are not only stash challenges, but sketches, lifts, recipes, cards...everything under the sun!

Have a GREAT day!

  2. I love how this looks Missy...and you would never even know that there is only a little bit of patterned paper, because the color from the paint splatters and drips is so AMAZING!! I have one of those "into everything" kids I can sympathize!! :) I love the pops of yellow on those cute punched borders!!

  3. I love your watercoloring! I really need to get some!
