Treasured Scrapbooking Entry

I joined Treasured Scrapbooking's website/forum/gallery, and am taking part in their annual Treasure Hunt. Everyone who entered the Eligibility Round made it through to Week 1.

The Week 1 Challenge was to create a layout following these criteria:

3 patterned papers from 3 different companies
1 sheet of cardstock
2 pictures
5 buttons
5 word title
Something handmade

Here is what I created:


I used papers from Shabby Princess, Paper Pizazz and AdornIt. The aqua paper is my cardstock, which I ran through the Cuttlebug for embossing texture. My handmade items are the flower and the flourish. I cut several sizes of flowers on my Cricut using white cardstock. Then, I glimmer misted and inked them, scrunched them up, dried them with the heat gun, glued the layers together and added a pearl. For the flourish, I used puffy paint on a transparency, using a real gem flourish as a template.

I also created these two pages just for fun :)

Sketchy Thursdays Challenge (and a few more!)

Here is my take on this Sketchy Thursdays sketch...I flipped it. I used a lot of my homemade glimmer mist for the background, and I made my own blue flourish! I used puffy paint on a transparency, but you can see where I cut around it. I also printed out my title in a funky font onto a transparency, but it's visible :( Pretend like you can't see that part!



And a few more layouts I completed over the past few days...The Baby Fight Club one is just my favorite!

More fun Halloween layouts :)

Here are few more Halloween creations...it's my favorite holiday to scrap. Once I get started, I don't want to stop, so I scrap them all while all of my Halloween stuff is out. I made a huge mess...I need a bigger desk :)

Cute Little Ghoul

Okay, yesterday I created a page of me and my sweet little Reese. I've been in the mood to scrap all of last year's Halloween/Fall pictures, (plus all of my Halloween stuff is scattered everywhere!) so today I created this page of my other little darling, Paige. This was last October, and now she's 18 months old! I love going down memory lane when I'm scrappin'!
